Fred Hopkins began practicing law in 1976, after his graduation from Hastings
College of the Law, in San Francisco. His litigation practice has taken him
to district, municipal, administrative, superior and federal courts, and the
Washington Court of Appeals. He specializes in criminal defense (misdemeanors)
and traffic defense as well as simple estate planning (wills and powers of attorney)
and entertainment law.
Fred is a published author ("Wills for Washington, Self-Counsel", Press 1997). He
has written columns for the "Washington Law Journal", "Wavelength", "Rock and Blues
News", "Blue Suede News" and many other publications. He has been a guest on such
local television programs as "Northwest Afternoon" and "Almost Live", and currently
appears on "The Pat Cashman Show" on KJR FM every Friday morning.
