Sean Nyberg

Sean NybergSean Nyberg is a fourth generation Washington native practicing law in the east side communities as well as the city of Seattle.

Sean grew up in Issaquah Washington where he attended Issaquah High School. After graduation Sean enrolled at the University of Washington where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He then set his eyes on law school and moved to Spokane to study at the Gonzaga University School of Law. Sean spent his first summer studying comparative international and constitutional law in Florence Italy. While in school Sean was active in the student government and other law school clubs including being voted Vice President of the William O Douglas Committee where he planned annual debates between faculty members as well as facilitated high profile speakers such as NPR's Ari Shapiro and former special prosecutor Ken Starr.

During school Sean interned at a criminal defense law firm getting first hand experience in the intricate and complicated area of criminal law. Sean also interned at a Seattle firm where he drafted wills and trusts and created and incorporated small businesses. Sean started as a Rule 9 legal intern with O'Brien, Barton, Joe & Hopkins PLLP, working on criminal defense cases daily and learning to practice generally in the firm's other areas of law. He is currently the firm's newest associate handling both civil and criminal matters.
